TSAMTO, May 31. Negotiations are currently underway to supply Ukraine with Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers from Slovakia. This, as RIA Novosti reports, was reported on May 30 by the online publication Teraz with reference to the Slovak Ministry of Defense.
"Negotiations on the supply of Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine from Slovakia are continuing, this was confirmed by the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense Martina Koval-Kakashchikova. In turn, the head of the defense Department, Yaroslav Nagy, told reporters that negotiations on this are "progressing." I.On May 30, Nagy discussed the situation in Ukraine and further forms of assistance to it via video link with his Ukrainian counterpart Alexey Reznikov," the message reads.
According to the publication, the head of the Slovak Defense Ministry assured his Ukrainian counterpart that assistance would continue.
