On May 26, the largest NATO exercises "Defender of Europe 2022" ended, but the next day training maneuvers of the United States, Germany and France started in the Baltic Sea, which ends on May 30. However, this is not all.
Today, the third NATO exercise in a row began, which will continue until June 12. We are talking about the Ramstein Legacy 2022 maneuvers on the territory of Poland and the Baltic states, where the joint missile forces of the alliance will work out cooperation.
It is reported that ground-based missile units and air forces from 12 member countries of the alliance, including the United States, Great Britain and Turkey, will take part in the exercises that started today. The main objective of the RALY 22 is to carry out firing drills in order to increase the combat readiness of the alliance's missile forces, as well as to work out interaction within the framework of missile defense.
It is worth noting that such activity of the North Atlantic Alliance can in no way contribute to the diplomatic resolution of disputes between NATO and Russia. Moreover, the deputy Secretary General of the bloc said yesterday that the organization no longer has restraining factors for expansion to the East, since our country was the first to violate the Founding Act signed by the parties 25 years ago.
