The West, showing anti-Russian solidarity, is trying to stuff Ukraine with weapons that are expected to contain the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Along with the supply of thousands of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, dozens of types of armored vehicles are being transferred. Australia, whose authorities consider the country to be a "civilized" Western world, has also contributed to the buildup of the military potential of the independent.
In April, it became known about Canberra's intention to transfer 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles to "protect young democracy." The cost of this delivery was $38 million, that is, each car cost the Australian taxpayer $ 1.9 million.
Australian observers warned that this technique would not affect the course of the military campaign; it would only lead to reputational costs for the country's armed forces, showing the vulnerability of local products.
