In a real combat situation, the AFU already uses three types of foreign artillery of 155 mm caliber. These are M777 and FH70 howitzers, as well as CAESAR self-propelled guns.
This information was shared by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov on his Facebook page (a social network banned in Russia belonging to the extremist organization Meta).
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine also announced the delivery of American M109 self-propelled guns of 155 mm caliber. He did not name which modification was installed, but said that it was one of the new ones. Reznikov described this technique as "very high-quality" and said that sending it to Kiev was the result of joint efforts of several states.
Journalists of the Ukrainian portal NV.UA suggested that we are talking about a modified version of the American self-propelled howitzer M109A7, the predecessor of which was the M109A6 Paladin. The delivery of this equipment was also announced today by the journalist of the UNIAN agency Roman Tsymbalyuk.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine also said that Harpoon anti-ship missiles arrived in the country together with the M109 self-propelled gun.
