TSAMTO, May 23. The scientific and business program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022" is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The events will be held from August 15 to 21 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center.
In total, it is planned to hold more than 260 events on priority issues of the development of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Russian military-industrial complex and international military-technical cooperation, which have become particularly relevant in the light of current world events.
Within the framework of the events of the scientific and business program, issues of state policy and interdepartmental cooperation in the field of state defense, as well as promising areas of development of the military-technical sphere will be discussed.
This year, the development of artificial intelligence technologies, as well as new solutions in the field of diversification of the Russian defense industry will be the dominant topics on the agenda of business events.
The landmark events of the scientific and business program are:
- Plenary session under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov;
- Congress "Strategic Leadership and Artificial Intelligence Technologies", the plenary session of which will be opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The main purpose of the event is the national consolidation of efforts for the successful development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
As noted in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in cooperation with the Government of the Russian Federation, more than 35 events of the scientific and business program will be organized within the Congress on Artificial Intelligence.
Speeches and reports of leading Russian scientists and representatives of the commercial sector with significant achievements in the field of IT technologies are planned.
The key event of the Congress will be the signing of a memorandum on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence;
Traditionally, part of the scientific and business events will be held under the auspices of the congress dedicated to the diversification of the Russian defense industry under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov.
The purpose of the congress is to summarize the best practices and prospects for diversification, identify the most promising vectors and sectors of development, discuss import substitution, transfer of knowledge and technology between the defense and civilian sectors of the economy, as well as effective ways to increase the output of high–tech civilian products of the defense industry of Russia.
A number of conferences will be the features of the scientific and business program of the Forum in 2022.
In particular, a military-scientific conference "The main directions and tasks of robotization of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035" will be held in August under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko.
In addition, by the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, an international anti-fascist congress will be held aimed at countering the falsification of history, the glorification of Nazism and the penetration of the ideology of extremism into the army environment.
Another large-scale event will be held within the framework of the forum. We are talking about the III International Fire and Rescue Congress organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, which is focused on demonstrating the results of the implementation of state policy in the field of safety in various spheres of life.
The forum will also host the 2nd Military-Economic Conference of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and a conference dedicated to the creation of a new model of interaction with educational organizations of higher education and the strategic direction of innovative development.
The participants of the events will discuss the creation of a mechanism for effective interaction between the Ministry of Defense of Russia and universities in solving problems of innovative development in the field of defense.
Representatives of the government of the Russian Federation, heads of federal executive authorities, enterprises and organizations of the military-industrial complex, leading scientific schools of the IT sector, as well as heads of delegations of foreign states are planning to take part in the events of the scientific and business program of the forum, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
