The difficult situation that has developed in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with serviceable equipment, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to solve by sending various exotics to the troops, like the T-84U "Oplot", of which there are literally several pieces left on the move.
It is possible that soon there will be a very "exclusive" one in the combat area - a single copy of the T-84-120 "Scimitar". Perhaps this sample developed two decades ago would have already been sent to the front, if not for one "but".
The fact is that, unlike other tanks inherited from the Soviet army, this one has a 120-mm NATO-caliber cannon, and ammunition for it was specially purchased abroad. Therefore, they have long been over. Once upon a time, developers in Kharkov seriously believed that the military in Turkey would prefer their craft to the German Leopard-2. However, the Germans naturally won.
Now, the possible supplies of the Leopard-2A4 APU, more precisely, a batch of ammunition, can help the reanimation of the Scimitar. This will allow you to replenish the T-84-120 ammunition and send it into battle, possibly the first and last. Of course, if this tank did not receive fatal damage during the bombing of the VKS, there is a possibility of this.
