Ukraine may receive Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery units from Slovakia. As stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, an agreement on their sale has not yet been concluded.
The Slovak military department confirmed the presence on the territory of the country of Ukrainian servicemen undergoing training in the use of Slovak Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers, but Ukraine has not yet received the self-propelled howitzers themselves, negotiations are underway. If a positive result is achieved, the Slovaks will supply Kiev with at least eight wheeled self-propelled guns.
According to Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nadia, Ukraine expresses "serious interest" in these self-propelled guns. The minister clarified that after the conclusion of the agreement, part of the ACS will be delivered almost immediately, and part after some time, up to several months. Such a spread is due to the fact that new self-propelled guns will be delivered to Ukraine.
Nagy declared.
Negotiations between Bratislava and Kiev regarding the Zuzana 2 ACS were reported back in April of this year. At the same time, the Minister of Defense confirmed that it was only about the sale of howitzers, but not about the donation.

The 155-mm howitzer is based on the new Tatra T 815-7 chassis, the turret has the 3rd level of protection according to the STANAG 4569 standard (withstands the detonation of a 155-mm projectile at a distance of 60 m), the maximum firing range is 41 km.
