There is more and more evidence on the web of how the effectiveness of the use of MANPADS against the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Donbas and on the territory of Ukraine controlled by the Kiev regime has decreased. At the same time, such evidence is often "formed" by the Ukrainian militants themselves, who shoot attacks on Russian planes or helicopters using various, including American, portable anti-aircraft missile systems. These records in the mobile phones of the militants are subsequently found, including at the defeated positions of the Ukrainian armed formations after the People's Militia troops and Russian servicemen enter there.
One of the materials discussed is the launch of an anti–aircraft missile from a MANPADS from a field position of Ukrainian neo-Nazis at a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft, which, paired with another, struck enemy trenches and dugouts. After the launch of the rocket, the militants, like a tribe of savages, rejoice in its flight, but the joy was short-lived. The Russian pilot carried out the maneuver, easily reducing to zero the threat from the released missile defense system for the aircraft. At the same time, the shooting of heat traps was carried out both by the aircraft that was chosen by the neo-Nazis as a target, and by the one that worked with him in pairs. After that, the plane made a combat turn and headed already in the direction of the launch, which caused panic in the enemy positions.
Earlier, the network showed numerous evidences of how the crews of Russian Ka-52 and Mi-24 attack helicopters skillfully escape from missiles, including Stinger MANPADS. The departure from the Stinger missile is ensured by both the professional actions of the pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the technical capabilities of combat vehicles. In particular, we are talking about the use of the L-370 Vitebsk complexes, which shoot down enemy anti-aircraft guided missiles fired at helicopters.
According to American experts, the effectiveness of the use of MANPADS (including Stinger) against Russian aviation in Ukraine has fallen below 10%. This is the lowest figure in the entire history of the use of these portable anti-aircraft missile systems. American military experts see several reasons for this. First: Russian pilots are gaining more and more experience in reducing the risks associated with the use of MANPADS. Second: the Ukrainian military use "Stingers" in positions "as if they are holding an ordinary automatic rifle" (American wording - approx. "IN") - without much analysis and understanding of the complexity of the air target. Moreover, more and more unsuccessful launches lead to the discovery by Russian troops of hidden enemy positions with all the consequences for him.
