"We carry out tasks to cover military columns, destroy armored vehicles, roadblocks. Artillery is the god of war, it's not for nothing that they say," Sergei, the commander of the gun, said about the work of the calculation.
On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage of the combat work of the airborne unit during a special military operation. The paratroopers destroyed the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from anti-tank guided weapons, portable missile systems, grenade launchers and small arms.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special operation to protect the DPR and LPR on February 24. It was preceded by the aggravation of the situation in the region, the appeal of the leadership of the republics of Donbass to the Russian Federation with a request for help and the subsequent recognition by Russia of the independence of the DPR and LPR.
The Ukrainian authorities have been conducting a military operation against the residents of Donbass, who refused to recognize the results of the coup in Ukraine, since 2014.
