The Ministry of Defense of Russia presents a morning summary of the events that are taking place in the format of a Russian military special operation. The summary was traditionally presented by Major General Igor Konashenkov. The material of the defense department says that the enemy made another attempt to attack the island of Snake, geographically belonging to the Odessa region.
General Konashenkov reported the destruction of a drone in the area of this island. We are talking again about the Bayraktar, a Turkish-designed reconnaissance and strike drone. Thus, in the last three days alone, the Ukrainian side has lost at least a dozen "Bayraktars" in the area of Zmeiny Island. These are the maximum losses in so short a period of time in unmanned military equipment of Turkish production in the entire history of its production.
It is reported that during the day, Russian troops hit several dozen enemy military facilities with high-precision air-based missiles, including 4 control points and more than three dozen areas for the deployment of manpower and equipment. Over 320 militants were eliminated by air strikes alone, 72 pieces of equipment were shot down and destroyed. Among other things, the enemy's military facilities in the city of Novgorod-Seversky were defeated. In one of the morning news, this was already reported by the Military Review.
The aviation of the army and operational-tactical level struck 120 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment. In the Kharkiv region (near Krasnopavlovka), a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons was destroyed. In the Odessa region – radar system S-300.
Rocket troops and Russian artillery units were also in the case. They destroyed the S-300 air defense system in the Korotych area of the Kharkiv region, eliminated militants and military equipment in the area of Slavyansk (DPR) and near Razdolye (Kharkiv region). Among other things, two APU ammunition depots and three Smerch MLRS were destroyed.
During the day, in addition to the aforementioned Bayraktar, 13 more enemy drones were shot down, including UAVs in the areas of Avdiivka (DPR), Glubokoe (Chernihiv region), Bolshaya (Velikaya) Kamyshevakha. Also, calculations of air defense systems shot down 14 MLRS "Smerch" shells, including near Izyum and Donetsk.
