Armored vehicles K-43269, also known as "Shot", take part in a special operation in Ukraine. Previously, such equipment has already been tested in battles against gangs of international terrorists in Syria.
Moreover, it was operated by both Russian forces and units of government troops. Now, judging by the photo, the armored car is fighting as part of the "Z" group.
Initially, the "Shots" were created for the border troops and had the designation BPM-97 (Combat Border Vehicle developed in 1997), but other security forces, including the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, became interested in it.
Quite good protection was mentioned as advantages, for example, it was reported that the upper part of the hull withstands hits from 12.7mm machine-gun bullets, and that the design uses units of the KamAZ-4326 biaxial all-terrain vehicle, which simplifies production.
The crew consists of two servicemen, eight more people are transported in the landing compartment. As an armament, it is possible to install a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun (aiming range up to 2000 meters) and an AG-17 Flame automatic grenade launcher (the enemy's defeat distance is 1700 meters).
Habitable and uninhabited combat modules with 14.5-mm and 7.62-mm machine guns and 30-mm rapid-firing guns have also been developed. The engine power is 240 hp. The maximum speed on the highway is 100 km/h. The power reserve is 1000 km. Weight - 10840 kg.
Various modifications, including reconnaissance ones, were created on the "Shot" platform.
