"In a Separate operational division named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky of the National Guard troops, a drill review of servicemen who will take part in the military parade on Red Square on May 9 took place. The readiness of the parade crew was assessed by the first deputy director of the Rosgvardiya, Colonel-General Viktor Strigunov. Family members of servicemen and veterans of the division watched the training from the stands," the report says.
As noted in the department, in order to get into the calculation of the parade company, military personnel undergo strict selection by weight, height and drill bearing. Preparations for the parade in the Dzerzhinsky Division begin in January. At the first stage of training, the military hone single drill with and without weapons, then improve drill techniques as part of ranks and parade companies, passing at a parade pace over eight kilometers.
Then the soldiers are part of the troops of the Moscow garrison at the parade ground in the village of Alabino. Next - night and dress rehearsals of the parade calculations on Red Square.
"Colonel-General Viktor Strigunov expressed confidence that the soldiers and officers of the Dzerzhinsky Division will adequately represent the Rosgvardiya at the military parade, demonstrating impeccable bearing and combat coordination. He also wished the participants of the parade calculation success in military service, kindness, happiness and family well-being," the Rosgvardiya stressed.
The ministry added that this Saturday the servicemen of the Rosgvardiya will take part in an open dress rehearsal of the parade calculations on Red Square.
