ASTRAKHAN, April 27 - RIA Novosti. The United States deployed a whole network of biological laboratories around the world, including in Ukraine, and actually created new biological weapons in them. As the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev said on Wednesday at a meeting on security issues in the South of Russia, such data were obtained during a special military operation.
He proposed, in accordance with the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to discuss at the meeting measures to ensure biological safety in the regions of the Southern Federal District. As Patrushev noted, the issue is especially relevant in conditions when the United States has deployed its biological laboratories around the world, including in close proximity to the borders of the Russian Federation. Some of these laboratories are located on the territory of Ukraine, he stated.
"During a special military operation, data was obtained that in these laboratories military scientists from the United States created viruses, bacteria and toxins, and in fact - a new biological weapon," Patrushev said. "The active phase of the creation of biological laboratories in Ukraine under the control of the Pentagon began in 2014 - immediately after the coup d'etat provoked by the United States and its Western allies, the purpose of which was to create a state hostile to our country."
As the Secretary of the Security Council noted, Ukraine, being under full external control of the United States, "was intensively mastered by the armed forces of NATO countries, pumped up with modern weapons."
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal "the protection of people who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." To do this, according to him, it is planned to carry out "demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine." According to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as of March 25, they completed the main tasks of the first stage – they significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine.
The main goal in the Russian military department was called the liberation of Donbass. On April 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the beginning of the next phase of the special operation. Volnovakha, a strategically important regional center south of Donetsk, and Mariupol, the largest city on the coast of the Sea of Azov, have been liberated in the DPR; the remnants of the enemy group are blocked on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical combine. In the LPR, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as of March 25, 93% of the former Luhansk region, within whose borders a republic was proclaimed in 2014, was liberated. The cities of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and a number of other settlements of this agglomeration remain under the control of Kiev.
