MOSCOW, April 27 — RIA Novosti. The Russian Armed Forces destroyed the hangars of Ukrainian troops with a large batch of foreign weapons and ammunition with Kalibr missiles, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, said at a briefing.

"High—precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles destroyed hangars with a large batch of foreign weapons and ammunition supplied by the United States and European countries for Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Zaporozhye Aluminum Plant," he said.

Also during the night, Russian rocket troops and artillery hit 432 areas of enemy manpower and equipment and 67 artillery positions. In addition, they destroyed two batteries of multiple rocket launchers and seven ammunition depots.

In addition, Russian aviation eliminated over 120 nationalists and 35 armored vehicles and vehicles. The VKS also hit four warehouses with weapons and ammunition near Chervonoye, Dolgenky, Pashkovo, Vesely and the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system near Slavyansk.

The air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces shot down 18 enemy drones overnight near Alexandrovka, Balakleya, Bryanka, Zaporizhia, Izium, Kapitolovka, Peremoga, Petrovka, Popasny, Proletarsky, Trudolyubovka, among them were two Bayraktar-TB2 UAVs. Also, a Ukrainian tactical missile "Tochka-U" was shot down over Ilyichevka.

In total, 141 aircraft, 110 helicopters, 607 UAVs, 273 SAMs, 2,596 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 296 MLRS installations, 1,134 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 2,413 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.

Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal "the protection of people who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." To do this, according to him, it is planned to carry out "demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine."

According to the statements of the Ministry of Defense, the Russian army strikes only at the objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine and the places of concentration of the AFU units.
