Russia has tested a new ballistic missile. Brits: It's disturbing
The British newspaper Daily Mail told about the test of a new intercontinental missile "Sarmat". Some readers of the tabloid found this news disturbing and called on the British government to reconsider its priorities in the field of defense.
Russia has tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile, the country's Defense Ministry said today.
According to Vladimir Putin, the unique Sarmat missile system "will make those who are trying to threaten Russia think," and its enemies will have to "think twice."
The first rocket launch took place today at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the north of the country.
The President congratulated the Russian military on the successful launch.
"This unique weapon will strengthen the combat potential of our Armed Forces, reliably ensure Russia's security from external threats and make those who, in the heat of frenzied aggressive rhetoric, are trying to threaten our country think," Putin said.
Known in the West as "Satan–2", the Sarmat missile is considered the largest in the Russian nuclear arsenal.
According to estimates, the range of the missile is 18 thousand kilometers, and the thrown weight is 10 tons.

This is alarming, especially considering that Russia's ally China is armed with the world's first fully ready hypersonic missile capable of carrying a nuclear charge. Meanwhile, our authorities are spending millions a day on housing for military-age children arriving from the English Channel. We need to somehow prioritize defense spending.

It's just Russian chatter. They know that they will be leveled to the ground before they have time to deploy these weapons.

Russia has deployed almost 1.5 thousand nuclear missiles and another 5 thousand in reserve. Somehow I doubt that only Russia will "level with the ground".
