On April 15, the Ministry of Defense of Russia (MO RF) showed how an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) conducts reconnaissance, detects and controls the accuracy of strikes on military facilities and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
So, judging by the video, during the execution of the task, the UAV found a column of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine making a march. The drone sent the coordinates of the detected targets to the control point, after which the Ukrainian military equipment was struck.
"We perform aerial reconnaissance tasks, escort equipment, strike tasks, since our complex has suspension points and can strike, artillery firing adjustments," said the head of the aircraft calculation, whose name was not disclosed.
According to him, the coordination center with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles reveals the points of concentration of enemy equipment and issues coordinates to the higher headquarters. After that, either the APU technique is struck, or they continue to monitor the objects.
"Before that, there was an application in Syria, they also showed themselves perfectly. Now they are being upgraded, improved and the complex is only getting better. Before that, there was no possibility of fire damage, now there are already targeting and defeats," concluded the interlocutor of the Ministry of Defense.
On the eve of April 14, it was reported that rocket troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit 132 objects of the armed forces of Ukraine. During the day, seven military facilities of Ukraine were hit by tactical aviation, among them — a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons, six areas of accumulation of manpower, armored vehicles of the Ukrainian 54th separate mechanized and 128th mountain assault brigades.
Since the beginning of the special operation, 131 aircraft, 104 Ukrainian helicopters, 245 anti-aircraft missile systems, 448 drones, 2188 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 248 multiple rocket launchers, 957 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 2088 special vehicles have been destroyed.
Earlier in the day, the general said that Russian tactical aviation had hit 48 military facilities of Ukraine during the day, including two control points, a radar station, two positions of a multiple launch rocket system, an artillery battery, six warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons, as well as 48 areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. The Kremlin explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the LPR and DPR as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
