Moscow. April 11. INTERFAX - Russian air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft, four drones, a Mi-24 helicopter was shot down by small arms fire in the air, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"Two Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft were shot down in the air by Russian air defense means in the area of the settlement of Izyum. In addition, three unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the Balakel districts of the Kharkiv region, Gulyai Pole and Volnovakha, as well as one unmanned aerial vehicle of the Valkyrie type in the area of the Kalininskoye settlement of the Mykolaiv region," Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Monday.
"In the area of the settlement of Posad-Pokrovskoye, Kherson region, a Ukrainian military helicopter Mi-24 was shot down in the air by concentrated small arms fire," he added.
Konashenkov also reported the defeat of 78 military facilities of Ukraine by Russian aviation. Among them, according to him, "three command posts, a radar of illumination and guidance, three positions of short-range anti-aircraft missile systems, four ammunition depots, as well as 58 strong points and areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment."
