Slovakia confirmed Ukraine's negotiations regarding the Zuzana self-propelled howitzers. In addition, it is possible that Bratislava will supply Kiev with Soviet-made MiG-29 fighters.
According to the Bratislava newspaper Pravda, which refers to the statement of the Slovak Ministry of Defense, the Slovaks are considering the option of donating Zuzana self-propelled howitzers, as well as the supply of MiG-29 fighters from the presence of the Slovak Air Force. Negotiations are already underway.
The Minister of Defense of the Republic Yaroslav Nagy confirmed the fact of negotiations with Kiev, but categorically rejected the option of giving something to Ukraine as a gift. According to him, there can be no donation, if Ukrainians want to get something, they have to pay for it. And for self-propelled guns, and for fighters.

Speaking about the MiG-29s available to the republic's Air Force, the Slovak minister explained that due to recent events, Russia will no longer serve Soviet fighters and they will have to be "put on the ground." Therefore, they can be transferred to Ukraine, where these aircraft will be quickly disposed of by the Russian air defense.
The minister also confirmed that Ukraine has requested the repair of its weapons at Slovak enterprises. We are talking about tanks, armored vehicles and artillery. No decision has been made yet, but in Bratislava they are already saying that they could do this.
