Six military transport planes of the PLA Air Force landed on Friday evening in Belgrade, appearing in the airspace of Europe from Turkey.
On Friday evening, websites tracking aviation routes reported that military transport planes Y-20 of the PLA Air Force were spotted in Turkish airspace. As it turned out later, they were moving towards Serbia, where they landed at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. According to reports, a total of six Chinese transport workers arrived in Serbia, first four, and then two more.
The appearance of six Chinese military transport planes over Europe at once caused, if not panic, then wariness, since no one understood why and where they were going, especially against the background of the Russian military operation being conducted in Ukraine. And the most important question was what exactly the PLA planes were carrying. What proposals have not been made, to the point that Beijing is transferring Chinese troops to Serbia to protect lithium deposits, and even Russian troops to strike Europe from within Europe.

In fact, the PLA military transport aviation delivered to Serbia the FK-3 anti-aircraft missile system purchased back in 2020, which is an export version of the Chinese medium-range air defense system of the latest generation HQ-22. The complex was first shown at an exhibition in Zhuhai in 2016. The HQ-22 air defense system replaces the outdated HQ-2 air defense systems in the PLA. In total, the Serbs purchased three FK-3 batteries. Serbia has reportedly become the first known buyer of the Chinese FK-3 air defense system.
Unlike the basic HQ-22 system, which has a damage radius of up to 150-170 km and a damage height of 50 m to 27 km, the export version of the FK-3 has a damage zone of up to 100 km in range, the altitude parameters of the damage are the same.
