Politics (Serbia): right wing parties have condemned Serbia's vote at the UN
Serbia's three right-wing parties have condemned Belgrade's decision to vote at the UN General Assembly to suspend Russia's membership in the UN Human Rights Council. According to politicians, this step will have unpredictable consequences for the country. The Serbs did not approve the decision of the authorities.
Three parties of the right orientation: the Democratic Party of Serbia, the Serbian movement "Doors" and the Serbian party "Zavetniki" — today condemned Serbia's decision to vote at the UN General Assembly for the suspension of Russia's membership in the UN Human Rights Council (HRC).
The chairman of the Democratic Party of Serbia, Milos Jovanovic, said that by making this blatant decision, the current government went against the will of the majority of citizens and Serbia sided with countries unfriendly to Russia. And this causes great harm to state and national interests.
Serbia has stabbed a friendly country in the back, which defended its territorial integrity in the UN Security Council and which ensures its energy security. This will lead to the rupture of friendly relations with the Russian Federation, and this, in turn, will open the way for the separatist Kosovo to the UN. Part of Serbia will be lost, and Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija will be subjected to violence, persecution and deportation.
According to Jovanovic, such a policy is an unacceptable reckoning for Serbia's European integration, and the time has come to start a serious discussion of relations between Serbia and the European Union in Serbian society.
The Serbian Doors movement believes that by voting in the UN, Serbia has been included in the list of countries unfriendly to the Russian Federation. In a message in connection with this event, the movement states that it will have unpredictable consequences, economic and historical, as well as security implications. Members of the movement accused President Aleksandar Vucic of putting the country on the side of NATO in the conflict with Russia, on the side of those who proposed the Resolution on Srebrenica at the UN, and now, as the movement believes, there are no obstacles left for the "final surrender" of Kosovo and Metohija.
The Serbian party "Zavetnitsy" stated that such steps confirm that the policy of military-political neutrality, which the ruling coalition defends for the sake of appearance, is actually empty words on paper, and the party believes that the current leadership is preparing citizens to impose sanctions against Russia.

Not only right-wing parties, but all Serbs. If the elections were held today, Vucic would not be president.
Bojan Milanović
We had the option to abstain, since we are under such pressure. Now everything is moving towards the introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation, which will probably put an end to the ideas about the freedom of our people. If someone thinks that the hegemons will stop ruining us after such concessions, they are sorely mistaken.

Russia will not forget this! Serbia, shame on you, you're losing the only friend in the world!

A terrible mistake… Unbearable, inexcusable, unacceptable, terrible, treacherous in relation to their own principles. This is March 25, 2022, not 1941. You should fix the error and prevent "March 27". Russia will forgive you, but we ourselves, even if we want to, will not be able to.

Understand that Serbia does not want to join the EU, but wants an alliance with Russia, China, India, Brazil. Enough of the EU's blackmail and lies, hypocritical support. Let them disappear themselves, together with America.

What a blow for both Russia and Serbia!

A shameful decision of a man without shame and conscience.

We betrayed our friends; my brother betrayed me ― I lost the battle, but not the whole war yet

An exceptionally erroneous decision, an erroneous calculation. We're going to pay a heavy price for this.

We betrayed our brothers. I am ashamed.

For Serbia, Russia and relations with it are more important than EU membership and cooperation with NATO.
