The Ministry of Defense of Russia confirmed the data on the missile strike on one of the objects of the Odessa region. Earlier, the so-called operational command "South" of Ukraine stated that missile strikes were launched from the sea, but it was not reported which targets were hit by the Russian military. The Russian Ministry of Defense provides specific data on targets, and these data, in fact, explain why the Ukrainian command is silent about specific objects.
It turned out that the missile strikes destroyed the center for the collection and combat training of foreign mercenaries. This center was located north of Odessa – near the village of Krasnoselka. The settlement is located on the coast of the Kuyalnitsky estuary.

At the same time, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, General Igor Konashenkov, actually refutes the statements of the Ukrainian side that the strikes were carried out from the ships of the Russian Navy.
According to Major General Konashenkov, the Bastion DBK was used to liquidate the training center for foreign mercenaries in the Odessa region.
The Ukrainian side does not comment on the destruction of the mercenary training center, since in this case it would have to disclose data not only on the transfer of mercenaries to the south of the country, but also on their numbers.
