According to "RG:Russian weapons", a sign that we are facing the very first version is an offshoot of the old optical sight-rangefinder TPD-2-49 located in front of the commander's hatch. Currently, this window has been sealed up and mounted TPD-K1 with a laser measuring channel.
In order to improve the characteristics of an outdated machine, it was equipped with mounted dynamic protection, a thermal imager, new track belts, communications equipment, smoke grenade launchers, a rear-view television camera.

Photos of the car taken after the battle appeared on the Network. As it turned out, a hole appeared in the place of the branch of the optical sight-rangefinder. The elements of dynamic protection were demolished, and the tower itself was jammed. All the internal equipment of the combat compartment also failed. As a result, the tank is no longer able to participate in battles, and it is almost impossible to repair it in the field.
