The 14th day of the special military operation can be confidently called a day of silence. Fighting on the initiative of the Russian military was stopped around major Ukrainian cities, which are blocked from the inside by nationalists, and surrounded from the outside by troops of Russia and the People's Republics of Donbass.
Therefore, the main concern of this day was the evacuation of civilians to safe areas. To do this, Russian servicemen have organized several humanitarian corridors. By the way, the Ukrainian side stubbornly resisted the fact that Ukrainians were taken to the territory of Russia. By the way, almost 200 thousand residents of Donbass have already been evacuated to our country. But, apparently, the Kiev regime no longer considers them Ukrainians. So, now the Russian side has organized humanitarian corridors and with the possibility of moving not to our territory.
"Despite the constant disruptions by the Ukrainian side of measures to open humanitarian corridors, but taking into account the escalating humanitarian situation caused by outrages and lawlessness on the part of nationalists, as well as in order to ensure the safety of civilians and foreign citizens - from 10.00 (Moscow time) on March 9, the Russian Federation declares a "regime of silence" and is ready to provide humanitarian corridors," said the head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine - head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
The first humanitarian corridor is organized from Kiev and adjacent settlements. Peaceful citizens will be able to get to Russia through the territory of the Belarusian city of Gomel. In the future, they will be delivered by air to Russia.
The second humanitarian corridor is organized from the Ukrainian Chernihiv - again through the Belarusian Gomel with subsequent delivery by plane to Russia.
The next humanitarian corridor ran from the city of Sumy along two routes: to Poltava and Belgorod. Then - by air, rail and road transport to selected destinations or temporary accommodation points.
From Kharkiv, you can go to Belgorod, and from there - by air, rail or motor transport to selected destinations or temporary accommodation in Lviv, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk (in agreement with the Ukrainian side).
From Mariupol, the corridors are assigned along two routes - to the territory of the Russian Federation to Rostov-on-Don via Novoazovsk, as well as to Taganrog and Zaporozhye.
The NCSO stressed that the specified statement about all designated humanitarian corridors was immediately brought to the Ukrainian side (Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk). It is proposed until 03.00 (Moscow time) on March 9 to "coordinate the specified routes and the start time of the functioning of humanitarian corridors." And also, before the specified time, submit a written agreement on these approaches, including guarantees to ensure safety on the declared routes.
In addition, the Ukrainian side was invited to publish this statement in Ukrainian and Russian in the Ukrainian media by 03.00 (Moscow time) on March 9.
Meanwhile, the offensive of the troops of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics continued in other territories. Thus, the grouping of the LPR troops, continuing offensive actions, took control of the settlements of Toshkovka and Grachevo. The advance was 2 kilometers.
The units of the People's Militia of the DPR advanced 4 kilometers during the offensive and captured the settlements of Signalnoye, Taramchuk, Yelenov and Trudovoye. The depth of the advance of the DPR units in Mariupol during the day was more than one kilometer.
Units of the Russian Armed Forces took control of the settlements of Krasnaya Polyana and Stepnoye on March 9.
In the meantime, the humanitarian corridors, through the fault of the Ukrainian side, have not earned their full power, Russian sailors have come up with a very original way to take out foreigners stuck in Ukraine. About 250 foreigners were evacuated from the territory of Ukraine to the Russian peninsula of Crimea. An armored train was used to move them, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet said.
"The calculation of the armored train of the Southern Military District provided the evacuation of citizens of several states by rail. The servicemen delivered 248 foreign citizens, including 38 children, from the Kherson region to the territory of the Russian Federation to the city of Armyansk," the naval press service said.
It is noted that the safety of foreigners on the way was ensured by the calculation of the armored train.
"Evacuation was provided according to applications from foreign citizens submitted to the military commandant's office of Kherson," the press service of the Black Sea Fleet explained.
Boarding an armored train consisting of 5 passenger cars was carried out near the village of Antonovka in the Kherson region.
Currently, the issue of the speedy delivery of all arrivals to their States is being resolved.
It is clarified that 166 Turkish citizens, 41 Ukrainian citizens, as well as citizens of countries such as Egypt, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Sweden, Italy, Brazil, Morocco and India were evacuated from the territory of Ukraine.
Yesterday, in addition, it became known that the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin signed a decree according to which the families of the victims after February 24 of the DPR military will be paid 5 million rubles, and those injured - 3 million rubles. "In the event of the death of a person from among military personnel, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as persons serving in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR, directly carrying out mine clearance of territories and objects from ammunition, explosive devices and explosives, who died in the period from February 24, 2022 until the termination of the decree of the head of the DPR dated February 19, 2022, No. 29 "On general mobilization", a one-time payment of 5,000,000 rubles is made to their family members," the decree published by the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR says.
