The fears repeatedly expressed by Russian experts, including from the Russian Defense Ministry, that dubious scientific developments are being conducted in Ukraine at the direction of the Kiev regime, to put it mildly, have been documented.
They show that this country could not only become the owner of the so-called dirty nuclear bomb, but also provided its territory for closed military biological research of the United States. With the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, the Americans hastily curtailed the activities of dozens of their laboratories there. But it was not possible to destroy all traces of such work.
The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that documentation on the emergency destruction of especially dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases was received from employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories on February 24. "It is obvious that with the beginning of a special military operation, the Pentagon has serious concerns about the disclosure of conducting secret biological experiments on the territory of Ukraine," the general said.
The documents received, according to him, confirm that the development of biological weapons components was carried out in Ukrainian biological laboratories, in the immediate vicinity of Russia. And with the beginning of the Russian special operation, in order to prevent the disclosure of the facts of violation by the United States and Ukraine of Article 1 of the UN Convention on the Prohibition of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health sent an instruction to all biological laboratories on the emergency elimination of stocks of dangerous pathogens stored there.
Now the documents are being analyzed by specialists of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Some of these documents, in particular, the instruction of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the destruction of pathogens and acts of destruction in the Poltava and Kharkiv biological laboratories, have already been published by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, spoke in sufficient detail about the US military biological research on the territory of Ukraine. First of all, he stressed that the Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly drawn attention to military biological programs that the Pentagon is implementing in the post-Soviet space. Including in Ukraine, a network has been formed that includes more than 30 biological laboratories. They can be divided into research and sanitary-epidemiological.
"The customer of the work being carried out is the Department of the US Department of Defense for Reducing the Military Threat (Ditra), - Kirillov explained. - A company affiliated with the military department, primarily Black and Veatch, participates in the implementation of projects." The work is carried out in three main directions. First of all, this is the monitoring of the biological situation, as the Pentagon states, in the proposed areas of deployment of military contingents of the NATO bloc states. The second is the collection and export to the USA of strains of dangerous microorganisms. The third direction is research work on the study of potential biological weapons agents specific to this region, which have natural foci and are capable of being transmitted to humans.
For example, since 2021, the Pentagon has been implementing the project "Diagnosis, monitoring and prevention of zoonotic diseases in the Armed Forces of Ukraine" with a funding volume of $ 11.8 million.
In 2020-2021, the German Ministry of Defense conducted a study of pathogens of Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, meningitis, hantaviruses on the territory of Ukraine as part of the implementation of the Ukrainian-German initiative to ensure biological security at the external borders of the European Union.
Under the pretext of testing the means of treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection from Ukraine at the Research Institute. Walter Reed of the US Army took out several thousand serum samples of patients, primarily belonging to the Slavic ethnic group.
The Head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation drew attention to the following fact. The activities of biological laboratories, whose activity in Russia has been noted since 2014, and the program of the so-called reform of the Ukrainian healthcare system implemented by the United States have led to an uncontrolled increase in the incidence of particularly dangerous and economically significant infections. Thus, an increase in the number of cases of rubella, diphtheria, tuberculosis is recorded on the territory of Ukraine. And the incidence of measles has increased more than 100 times. It is no coincidence that the World Health Organization has declared Ukraine a country with a high risk of polio outbreak.
"We believe that in 2007, a strain of African swine fever with increased contagiousness was constructed in the Georgian biolab, subordinate to the Pentagon. Its spread caused significant economic damage to a number of states, including Ukraine and Poland, and excluded them from a number of pork exporters," General Kirillov said.
According to him, the Department of the Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is constantly studying the biological situation on the territory of Ukraine. According to Russian military experts, there is an emergency curtailment of biological programs.
The analysis of the Russian military documents that have fallen into the hands confirms that the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has set a task since February 24 of this year, that is, with the beginning of a special military operation of the Russian Federation, to completely destroy the bioagents in the laboratories.
"At the same time, the analysis of the instructions to laboratory officials indicates: the procedure for the liquidation of collections is aimed at their irrevocable destruction. Apparently, everything necessary to continue the implementation of the military biological program has already been taken out of the territory of Ukraine," said Lieutenant General Kirillov.
He also said that it is clear from the acts of destruction: work with pathogens of plague, anthrax and brucellosis was carried out in the Lviv biolab. The pathogens of diphtheria, salmonellosis and dysentery were treated in laboratories in Kharkiv and Poltava.
Here are just some facts. Only in Lviv, 232 containers with the causative agent of leptospirosis were destroyed, 30 with tularemia, 10 with brucellosis, 5 with plague. In total - more than 320 containers. "The nomenclature and the excessive number of biopathogens indicate the work carried out within the framework of military biological programs," said the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
He is sure that the curators from the Pentagon understand that if these collections get to Russian experts, it will most likely be confirmed that Ukraine and the United States have violated the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons. Namely: carrying out work to enhance the pathogenic properties of microorganisms using methods of synthetic biology. Only this, Kirillov believes, can explain the haste with which the liquidation event was carried out.
So far, we repeat, the Russian Defense Ministry has published and commented on only a small part of the documents received from Ukraine on military biological research. The department said that their study is ongoing. The results of such an analysis will inform not only the Russian, but also the world community.
And now another fact confirms that Ukraine could have been working on a "dirty" nuclear bomb. Let's recall the failed provocation that Ukrainian saboteurs tried to arrange near the Zaporozhye NPP on March 4 at about 2 o'clock. We are talking about a shootout with the guards of the Rosgvardians guarding the station and a fire set by saboteurs in a training complex outside the NPP.
The Russian Defense Ministry then came to the conclusion that the purpose of the provocation was an attempt to accuse Russia of creating a hotbed of radioactive contamination in Ukraine. However, some experts have suggested that Ukrainian saboteurs came to the nuclear power plant with a special task - to take away or destroy evidence of work on a "dirty" atomic bomb. This cannot be ruled out either.
