US sanctions will not do much harm to the Russian defense industry. The blow of the American authorities on this industry, which, according to their plan, was supposed to be "crushing", is unlikely to have a significant impact on it.
This opinion is expressed by experts from China, interviewed by journalists of the Chinese newspaper Global Times.
The impact of sanctions on the defense industry of the Russian Federation announced by the United States will be minimal, as this industry tries to do without the use of foreign components and technologies. This makes it less susceptible to foreign pressure.

The press of the People's Republic of China notes that, although the United States is doing its best to force buyers of Russian products to abandon cooperation with Moscow, they are not doing well. After all, the main importers of Russian weapons and military equipment are India, Iran and Turkey, that is, countries that are primarily guided by their national interests, not American ones.
And even if Washington manages to partially restrict Russian arms exports, this reduction in volumes is more than offset by the growing demand for weapons manufactured by the Russian Federation, which are successfully used in real combat operations.
