Moscow. March 6. INTERFAX - The Russian military department has stated that the countries in which Ukrainian combat aircraft will be based may involve themselves in an armed conflict.
"It is reliably known about Ukrainian combat aircraft that previously flew to Romania and other border countries," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Sunday.
"We draw attention to the fact that the use of the airfield network of these countries to base Ukrainian combat aircraft with subsequent use against the Russian Armed Forces can be regarded as the involvement of these states in an armed conflict," he said.
The groups of troops of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, Konashenkov said, with the fire support of the Russian Armed Forces, continue offensive actions.
"Units of the People's Militia of the Donetsk Republic are successfully developing an offensive in the city limits of Mariupol from the north-western and eastern directions," the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said.
He also said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are striking at the objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine.
"On March 6, the airfield of the Ukrainian Air Force in Vinnytsia was disabled by high-precision long-range weapons. Fighter aircraft and air defense of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down three more Ukrainian Su-27 fighters and three unmanned aerial vehicles in the air. In total, for yesterday and incomplete today, the Ukrainian Air Force lost 11 combat aircraft and two helicopters," Konashenkov said.
According to him, "almost all combat-ready aviation of the Kiev regime has been destroyed."
He said that precision strikes will be inflicted on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.
"As part of the task of demilitarizing Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces will defeat Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex with high-precision weapons," the representative of the ministry said.
"In order to avoid a threat to the lives of employees of Ukrainian defense industry enterprises, we warn in advance about planned strikes on such facilities," Konashenkov said, urging staff to leave the territory of the enterprises.
He said that at such enterprises, the Ukrainian side is trying to restore military equipment damaged as a result of Russian strikes for subsequent deployment to combat areas.
Konashenkov also said that during a special military operation, the facts of an emergency clean-up of traces of a military biological program funded by the US Department of Defense implemented in Ukraine were revealed.
"We have received documentation from employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories on the emergency destruction of especially dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases on February 24. Now the documents are being analyzed by Russian specialists of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops," Konashenkov said.
According to him, "with the beginning of a special military operation, the Pentagon had serious concerns about the disclosure of conducting secret biological experiments on the territory of Ukraine."
"The documents received confirm that the development of biological weapons components was carried out in Ukrainian biological laboratories, in the immediate vicinity of the territory of Russia. In order to prevent the disclosure of facts of violation by the United States and Ukraine of Article 1 of the UN Convention on the Prohibition of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health has sent an instruction to all biolaboratories on the emergency elimination of stored stocks of dangerous pathogens," Konashenkov said.
In the near future, he said, the results of the analysis of the received documents will be presented.
