MOSCOW, March 1. /tass/. More than 10 Angara launch vehicles are currently in production at Polet Software (a branch of the Khrunichev Center). This was stated by the General Director of the M. V. Khrunichev Center Alexey Brewho.
"There are currently 11 Angara launch vehicles in production at the Polet software: three light class "Angara-1.2" and eight heavy class "Angara-A5", - said the Cook, whose words are quoted in the message of Roscosmos.
Among the missiles in production, there is also an electric refueling mock-up ("NJ") Angara-A5 rockets and the first Angara-A5 flight rocket for the Vostochny Cosmodrome. "In March, it is expected to send all tanks and compartments of the NJ layout to the final assembly shop, where the mock-up engines are already located. Currently, the readiness of the NZH mock-up is 60%, and the first flight rocket is 42-45%," he said.
According to the General director of the M. V. Khrunichev Center, the third stages of the "NJ" layout and the flight rocket will be sent to Omsk before transportation to Vostochny. They are manufactured at the Moscow site of the Khrunichev Center.
The second stage of construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome involves the construction of a launch pad for Angara-A5 launch vehicles and related infrastructure. It is assumed that the construction of the second stage will be completed at the end of 2022, and the first launch will take place at the end of 2023.
