TSAMTO, March 1. According to the plan for the supply of the main samples of weapons and military equipment, two new mobile radars "Casta" with improved characteristics have entered service with the units of the radio technical troops of the Central Military District stationed in Siberia.
The new Kasta-2-2 radars have been delivered to radio engineering regiments in the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions. They are able to more accurately determine the altitude and flight range of air objects by equipping them with improved data processing systems.
The renewal of the fleet of weapons of radio-technical troops will strengthen control over the airspace in the areas of responsibility of the air defense of the Central Military District, the press service of the district reports.
