TSAMTO, March 1. On February 25, a panel discussion on the peculiarities of intellectual property rights management in the field of artificial intelligence technologies was held in the hall of the Patriot Convention Center.
The discussion was organized by the Department for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation together with the Main Department for Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the participation of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, the Foundation for Advanced Research, Rostec State Corporation, FAPRID, FIPS and research organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
During the discussion, the issues of prospects for the development of artificial intelligence technologies for military purposes, as well as state registration of rights to the results of intellectual activity obtained during research and development work on their creation were considered.
Based on the results of the discussion, proposals will be prepared for draft regulatory legal acts on legislative measures to expand the use of intellectual activity results created using artificial intelligence technologies and to ensure the protection of rights to these results, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
