Vladivostok. March 1st. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Units of the combined arms Army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will perform combat training tasks at the Kapustin Yar interspecific training ground in the Astrakhan Region and will work out issues of transportation of formations and military units over long distances, the press service of the VVO reports.
"Units of the combined arms army of the Air Defense Forces stationed in the Primorsky Territory will perform combat training tasks at the Kapustin Yar interspecific training ground (Astrakhan Region), in preparation for the strategic command and staff exercise of the Vostok-2022 SKSHU," the message says.
Military echelons will be engaged in transportation along the railway line from the points of permanent deployment to the Znamensk station. They will work out the transportation of equipment and personnel, bringing them into combat readiness, making a march, loading and unloading on railway transport, placing units in positional areas, issues of combating the conventional enemy's DRG.
