The state corporation clarified that after the solemn send-off in the Star City, the main and backup crews flew to Kazakhstan with two special boards from the Chkalovsky airfield. "The plane with the main crew has already landed at the airport Extreme," - said in a message in the Telegram channel of Roscosmos.
A few minutes later, a plane with a backup crew landed at the airport Extreme. Members of the Technical Management and the State Commission were waiting for the crew members.
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Soyuz MS-21 spacecraft is scheduled for 18:55 Moscow time on March 18. The flight to the station will take place according to a two-turn scheme (about three hours). The main crew includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov, the backup crew includes Sergey Prokopyev, Anna Kikina and Dmitry Petelin.
