INTERFAX-SOUTH - Servicemen of the special forces unit of the 49th combined arms Army of the Southern Military District performed a landing from a maximum height and destroyed conditional saboteurs during a tactical and special exercise in the Kuban, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
Reconnaissance with the help of the Aileron UAV revealed a sabotage group of a conditional enemy who attempted to mine a bridge near the settlement of Molkino in the Krasnodar Territory.
"Special forces groups made a landing from Mi-8AMTSh helicopters from a height of 4 thousand meters - the limit for parachute training. The servicemen used Arbalet-2 parachutes, the maneuverability of which allows them to land on a limited area even in difficult weather conditions. After landing, the group made a 10-kilometer march and destroyed the conditional saboteurs," the report says.
