Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday visited the construction of a multifunctional complex of buildings of the National Space Center in the west of Moscow: the builders of the new Roscosmos building expressed support for the actions of the president and the "guys", in response, Putin assured that support was very necessary, and the guys would hear. The President was accompanied by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
At the end of the visit, the head of state addressed the builders, thanking them for their work. In response, one of the workers said that he supported the president. "We support you, we are with you, we support our guys. Hurrah!" he said.
"Thank you. The guys need your support, and they will hear it," Putin promised.
The center is being built on a plot of 6.9 hectares on the territory of the Khrunichev Center. Its area will be 250-270 thousand square meters, it will employ about 20 thousand people. The 288-meter tower with a spire will become the high-rise dominant of the entire complex. Completion of construction is expected at the end of 2022, transfer to Roscosmos - in 2023.
The Center will house the basic departments of leading space universities, the experimental production of the Khrunichev Center, engineering centers and administrative structures.
