Moscow. February 27. INTERFAX - Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the construction of a multifunctional complex of buildings of the National Space Center in the west of Moscow on Sunday.
The President was accompanied by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and the head of the state corporation "Roscosmos" Dmitry Rogozin.
The center is being built on a plot of 6.9 hectares on the territory of the Khrunichev Center. Its area will be 250-270 thousand square meters, it will employ about 20 thousand people. The 288-meter tower with a spire will become the high-rise dominant of the entire complex. The construction is expected to be completed at the end of 2022, and the transfer to Roscosmos is expected in 2023.
