The head of Roscosmos said that the European side has the same attitude to continue cooperation
MOSCOW, February 26. /tass/. Russia would like to conduct a joint Exomars mission with Europe, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said on Saturday on the Solovyov Live channel on YouTube.
"We would like to work with ESA (European Space Agency - approx. TASS) - I have contacted my colleagues on this topic several times today, they are also very worried - we would like to keep the Russian-European mission to Mars, it is called Exomars, this mission should be implemented in the last decade of September this year," he said.
According to Rogozin, the European side has the same attitude to continue cooperation. "And ESA, if they lose this mission, it's a disaster for them," he said.
Earlier, the head of Roscosmos said that the German side had notified about the shutdown of its telescope at the Spektr-RG space observatory, which is a joint project with the Russian Federation.
