The UAE plans to buy 12 L15 combat training aircraft from China. This is reported by the South China Morning Post newspaper.
The UAE Defense Ministry announced its intention to sign a contract with China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC) for the purchase of 12 L15 units with an option for 36 more of the same additional aircraft.
It is expected that the agreement will be signed in the near future.
