Moscow. February 25. INTERFAX - A set of compatibility tests of the Termidesk virtual workplace connection manager with the zVirt virtualization system versions 4.3 and 4.4 has been completed, the press service of the Astra Group of companies reports.
"Both software stacks work correctly, and with their help, customers - the public sector and private business - can build server infrastructures for the organization of virtual workplaces of employees," the message said on Friday.
According to the press service, this will ensure the continuity of processes in any conditions, including situations where a transition to "remote" is necessary.
It is reported that the software stacks were tested by specialists from both vendors on a test stand deployed for this purpose. The complex of inspections included the installation of the product, the deployment of virtual workplace infrastructure using guest machines running Windows and Linux-like operating systems, including Astra Linux, as well as testing all the functionality that Russian organizations use for daily office work.
"The test drive of Termidesk and ZVirt showed full compatibility of domestic solutions that provide mobility without restrictions," said Mikhail Orlovsky, head of products at Infoland, quoted by the press service.
He noted that when working remotely, data is centrally stored on a virtualization server, a protected local or "cloud" resource. ZVirt includes all the necessary functionality for effective management of servers and virtual machines and is not inferior in this to the solutions of leading international companies.
