The official representative of the Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov told about the first results of the special operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine. On the morning of February 24, Vladimir Putin, in his address to the people, said that Moscow would provide military assistance to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics within the framework of Friendship and Mutual Assistance Agreements. The President assured that Russia's plans do not include the occupation of Ukraine, but only its demilitarization and denazification.
