At the recent exercises of the 93rd separate mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a mobile launcher capable of using the ATGM of the Stugna-P complex was demonstrated.
A light buggy-type all-terrain vehicle is used as a platform. The first similar machines in the land forces of Ukraine appeared back in 2015, then the ATGMs were installed on the UTV "CF Moto Tracker" chassis.
For some reason, sources in Nezalezhnaya hesitate to report which model is being used now. It is emphasized that such vehicles will be included in mobile anti-tank groups, which will attack enemy armored columns from the flanks.
This tactic resembles a partisan one. In addition to ATGM, such groups are also armed with NLAW complexes optimized for the fight against armored vehicles, supplied from the UK, and light vehicles with large-caliber DShK machine guns.
"Stugna-P" can hit targets at a distance of up to 5000 m, armor penetration is 800 mm of armor located behind dynamic protection. A feature of the ATGM is the possibility of remote control via a special remote control, which is located at a distance in the shelter.
At the same time, a launcher mounted on a buggy and located on the ground can be easily detected, including by unmanned reconnaissance remotely controlled vehicles and, accordingly, destroyed.
