The international exhibition and conference of unmanned systems UMEX- 2022 is taking place in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Russia is represented by Rosoboronexport.
"We are successfully promoting the Orlan-10E and Orion-E reconnaissance and reconnaissance-strike unmanned complexes, the Kub-E kamikaze UAVs for export, and we are also preparing to launch a large line of vehicles on the foreign market: ultralight, heavy attack, helicopter-type and multirotor drones," said Alexander Mikheev, Rosoboronexport's General director.
The topic of unmanned systems today is of great interest in the Middle East, which has significant potential to equip its law enforcement agencies with high-tech products. This market segment is one of the most promising in the region.
"Along with the growing demand for unmanned vehicles, there is an increased attention to UAV detection and suppression systems. These products are particularly relevant in the Middle East region, where terrorist attacks with the use of drones periodically occur. Rosoboronexport offers its partners a wide range of means to equip both law enforcement agencies and army units, as well as private companies engaged in the protection of infrastructure facilities, oil and gas industry enterprises and strategically important organizations," Alexander Mikheev added.
According to the press service of Rosoboronexport, cooperation is currently being considered on the export of individual samples of UAV countermeasures, for example, Repellent, Repellent Patrol, Dome, Rubezh-Automatika, Pischal. In addition, the company has developed and offers its partners a comprehensive anti-drone system that combines electronic warfare and air defense systems of various classes.
