More than 500 people took part in the exercises
MOSCOW, February 21. /tass/. Specialists of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops of the Western Military District worked out tasks to eliminate the consequences of virus attacks as part of the exercises. This was reported to journalists on Monday in the press service of the district.
According to the exercise scenario, information about the threat of the spread of a dangerous viral infection was received at the control points of the RCB protection.
"The servicemen carried out RCB reconnaissance, deployed universal special treatment stations ARS-14KM, <...> using auto-filling stations, carried out degassing, decontamination and disinfection of personnel, weapons, military equipment, as well as disinfection of terrain areas in a conditional emergency situation," the district said.
All the tasks were successfully completed. In total, more than 500 military personnel were involved in the exercises, and about 40 units of special equipment were involved.
