MOSCOW, Feb 18 - RIA Novosti. The special services of the Russian Federation, despite the fact that there are not as many of them as in the United States, act very effectively, the president sees the real picture, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"As for the US intelligence service, there are a lot of different ones in the US. In Russia, the president is doing well with this, we don't have so many of them, but they are no less effective. I repeat once again, we are fine with this, or rather with the president of Russia," Peskov said in response to the question of how informed the president is and from what sources he draws information about what is happening in the Donbass.
"We don't have channels to see it better, but, of course, the President of the Russian Federation has many sources that allow him to draw up a real picture of the situation. He receives relevant reports from the relevant services," Peskov replied to the question about additional communication channels.
The journalists also asked the president's press secretary about night messages on such channels and how Putin sleeps at night. "Calm down," Peskov said to this. When asked how he sleeps himself, the press secretary of the president replied: "No less calm."
