The British Navy told about tracking the activity of Russian Navy ships
The ships of the Naval Forces (Navy) of Great Britain, with the support of the allies, tracked the actions of the Russian Navy. This was reported on Twitter by the British Navy.
It is clarified that the activity of seven Russian ships and auxiliary forces was monitored on the territory from Denmark to the English Channel and the Irish Sea.
The actions of the Russian Navy ships were observed by the crews of the frigates HMS Kent, HMS Argyll and HMS Northumberland, the hydrographic vessel HMS Echo, as well as the patrol ships HMS Mersey and HMS Severn. The report says that the actions of the British fleet were supported by Denmark, the United States and France.
In January, the Russian embassy reported that the exercises of the Russian Navy in the north-eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean will be held outside the exclusive economic zone of Ireland.
Earlier in the same month, Vasily Kashin, director of the HSE Center for Integrated European and International Studies, said that the exercises of the Russian fleet in the Mediterranean Sea would show NATO the country's capabilities. The maneuvers involved ships of four fleets, including cruisers, frigates and large anti-submarine ships.
