Vladivostok. February 17. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - The training of grenade launchers of the Eastern Military District (VVO) is being completed in six regions of the Far East. More than 2 thousand servicemen take part in them, the press service of the Air Defense Ministry reports.
The training camps are held in the Republic of Buryatia, the Trans-Baikal, Khabarovsk, Primorsky Territories, the Sakhalin Region and the Jewish Autonomous Okrug. Grenade throwers of RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and calculations of AGS-17 "Flame" automatic grenade launchers take part.
"Half of the classes are held at night with the use of night vision devices. At the practical stage of the training, the servicemen conduct reconnaissance, determine the types of targets and the distance to them, destroy the armored vehicles of the conditional enemy at maximum range from RPG-7 grenade launchers," the report says.
