MINSK, Feb 16 - RIA Novosti. Pilots of Belarus and Russia at the exercises "Allied Determination-2022" conducted a conditional air battle in pairs, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported on Wednesday.
"Belarusian pilots on Su-30SM aircraft and their Russian colleagues on Su-35S aircraft conducted a simulated air battle in pairs at low altitudes - from 200 to 1000 meters. The pilots alternately imitated the actions of the enemy. The task of the attackers is to "sit on the tail" of the enemy aircraft and conditionally destroy it," the release says.
The joint Belarusian-Russian exercises "Allied Resolve-2022" are held from February 10 to 20, within the framework of which issues of suppressing and repelling external aggression, as well as countering terrorism and protecting the interests of the Union State are being worked out.
Representatives of Russia and Belarus have repeatedly stated that the maneuvers are defensive and do not threaten anyone.
