In the Baltic Fleet in the Kaliningrad region, an exercise was held to repel a missile and air strike of a conditional enemy by the forces of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs).
According to the press service of the ministry, during the exercise, the combat crews of the S-400 complexes of the Baltic Fleet air defense units made marches to the areas of cover. There they promptly deployed the complexes in combat order to detect and destroy air and ballistic targets.
At this time, the air situation was complicated by simulated air raids of a simulated enemy at different altitudes and speeds. The "attack" from the air was conducted by the crews of Su-27, Su-24 and Su-30SM aircraft and helicopters of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation.
Interference with the combat calculations of the S-400 was also created by means of electronic warfare. But this did not prevent them from successfully destroying all targets with a volley of anti-aircraft missile systems. Electronic launches were carried out on air targets. The positions of the SAM were covered by the anti-aircraft missile and cannon complexes "Pantsir-S1" of the air defense compound.
Help "RG"
The S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems are designed for highly effective protection of the most important military and civilian facilities from air strikes, strategic cruise, tactical and operational-tactical ballistic missiles.
ZRPC "Pantsir S1" is used for short-range cover of civilian and military facilities from all modern and promising means of air attack. It is effective in any weather and electronic environment day and night and is able to effectively combat any type of manned and unmanned aerial attack vehicles, including those armed with airborne precision weapons.
