The Russian army is able to cope with any enemy in Europe. The latest weapons and training of personnel, combined with the experience of modern military conflicts, make the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the most powerful in the region.

"Today Russia has a highly functional army capable of conducting operations, including very far from its own borders - we have seen this from its participation in the Syrian war, for example," Marie Dumoulin, head of the Expanded Europe program at the analytical center of the European Council on Foreign Relations in Brussels, quotes the publication.
The head of the American analytical group CNA, Mikhail Kofman, is convinced that since 2008 Russia has acquired the most powerful armed forces in Europe.
"Now it is at its highest combat readiness in many decades - both in terms of efficiency and mobility, and in terms of technical potential," the Swedish newspaper quotes him as saying.
Ben Aris, editor-in-chief of Business New Eigore and former head of the Moscow branch of the Daily Telegraph, believes that the modernization of the Russian army has led to the fact that today it could defeat all the armies of Europe - unless the United States helps them.
