Moscow. February 15th. INTERFAX - Shvabe Holding has handed over to distributors the first batches of infrared heaters and multifunctional inhalation anesthesia devices.
"Russian equipment will work in medical institutions in Baghdad and Kuala Lumpur," the Shvabe press service said in a statement released on Tuesday.
"For the first time, the Radiant Heat - BONO infrared heater for newborns and the MAIA-01 anesthesiological complex manufactured by the E.S. Yalamov Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ) are being exported to Iraq and Malaysia. At the end of 2021, the products passed the registration procedure of the local ministries of health, the press release says.
Anatoly Sludnykh, General Director of UOMZ, notes that "deliveries were realized following the results of winning open auctions."
"Our products have been selected by our partners, including due to their functional and operational properties, which have been tested in practice by doctors in Russia and a number of countries around the world. Previously, we exported respiratory support devices, incubators and phototherapy equipment to Baghdad and Kuala Lumpur. Sending new types of products has become an extension of the existing interaction," said Sludnykh, quoted by the press service.
According to her, the Radiant Heat - BONO heater is used as the main or additional source of heat for newborns. It is used in the process of resuscitation and super-intensive phototherapy of infants in perinatal centers, maternity care institutions, research Institutes for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood.
The complex MAIA-01 can be used for inhalation anesthesia of children from one year old and adults during surgical interventions and artificial lung ventilation.
These products have been awarded various awards, including as promising developments in the field of science, technology, environmental protection and medicine.
