Military expert Yuri Knutov commented on the exercises in Crimea with the use of Bastion coastal missile systems on Sputnik radio.
Exercises with the use of Bastion coastal missile systems of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) were held in Crimea.
"Divisions of mobile coastal missile systems (DBK) "Bastion" from the coastal missile and artillery brigades of the Black Sea Fleet stationed in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory marched to designated areas to perform combat training tasks," the Information support Department of the Black Sea Fleet reported.
It is noted that the servicemen carried out a training missile firing at a naval target. During the exercises, ammunition replenishment was also worked out, as well as the withdrawal of the Bastion complexes from under attack. The exercises were conducted in accordance with the combat training plan of the Black Sea Fleet, more than 40 units of military and special equipment were involved in them.
On the air of Sputnik radio, military expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces Yuri Knutov noted that the Bastion complexes are part of a powerful defensive system, in front of which a potential enemy is in a vulnerable position.
