MOSCOW, February 10. /tass/. A joint Russian-Kazakh enterprise, the launch of which is scheduled for 2022, will provide the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan with the latest submachine guns, the press service of the Kalashnikov group of companies told reporters on Thursday.
"Work on this project with the participation of technical specialists of Kalashnikov Group has been actively conducted since last year. Now we can say with confidence that the joint production will meet the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan in modern submachine guns," Kalashnikov reported.
As previously noted in the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, in 2022, the country's defense enterprises plan to implement promising projects, including the production of AK-12 and AK-15 assault rifles on the basis of JSC "Tynys".
